Vera was a teacher and administrator with the Calgary Board of Education. She was celebrated as a Woman of Vision by Global television and received Seattle Pacific University's Medallion Award for excellence and outstanding service in her field. The 200 year old model schools are currently operating from is not working for millions of students around the world. Vera has created a new model of education, THE STORY CIRCLE MODEL, that produces capable students who are successful and enjoy learning. It is especialy designed to bring success to the Indigenous people of the world who simply CANNOT learn under the present model. Vera is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and she has entertained and educated audiences for many years.
