He is a regular in the media in Spain and Latin America. He has received numerous awards for his work as the European Space Agency's "ESA Awards" prize, and the Salva i Campillo International Telecommunications Award (where Tim Berners Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web was also awarded). He is Session Chairman and member of the Program Commitee in various international scientific and technical conferences.
He began his research career in 1997, and since 2000, working as Engineer in the European Space Agency (ESA).
