Amy Aquino

Amy Aquino

FL, US
The personification of grace and resolve in the face of adversity.

As breast cancer survivor, Amy Aquino is no stranger to fighting for what she want in life.  After the needs of her cancer treatment forced her to take a leave of absence from her career and the company founded by her long time friend, Amy returned with the idea for a foundation dedicated to assisting breast cancer survivors to remain in the workforce during their treatment and recovery period.  No stranger to running charitable foundations, Amy had overseen the operations for three separate 501c(3) charitable organizations for Slim Fast Foods in the 1990's.  Her 16 years experience supporting company Presidents, Vice Presidents, CFO's and Department Managers for major companies across the 18 critical infrastructure industries had well prepared Amy for the role of supporting her fellow cancer survivors in the workplace.

Amy also worked with the Florida Marlins and others gaining knowledge and experience in promoting and coordinating celebrity appearances.  In 2005, she joined High Alert as the Marketing Director, only to leave in 2007 to battle her own cancer and finally to return in 2009 with the conviction that no breast cancer survivor should have to sacrifice their sense of professional self worth on the alter of cancer care.  She brings that message of hope, empowerment and joy to audiences everywhere.
