He is a former ESU International Oxford Scholar, National Maternal Child Health Research Fellow, and he holds advanced degrees in Social Work & Business Administration. After serving as a Clinical Response Team Leader during relief efforts associated with 911 in New York, BC Farnham returned home to Alabama and joined the faculty of a major university. He also serves as a consultant and retained subject matter expert with some of the largest health care and human service organizations in the United States. His dual skill-set, which encompasses clinical service delivery and organizational advancement, has proven to offer invaluable insight during periods of organizational crisis, change and growth to thousands of health care and human service professionals.

Whenever BC Farnham is not behind a lectern, facilitating a conference or teaching in a classroom, he spends time at his home in Panama City, Florida with his family, friends and four-legged children. He is currently working on his next publication titled, The Day I Became Too Tired to Care.
