Testimonials
Ron McArthur, President, Napoleon Products
We first heard about Jack and his Fully Alive presentation from one of our senior executives attending a seminar at TEC Canada. He was inspired by Jack's style of presentation—fast paced and very relevant. Jack's comments and thoughts on leadership really struck a chord with him.
Since then, we have had Jack back five times to provide leadership training for our entire management team, as well as, all of our sales representatives from across North America. One element that Jack delved deeply into, which resonated with our management team, is the adage that as a leader you have to trust "FIRST" and the example of the movie
ARGO really hit home with all of us Canadians.
We received comments from our team such as –"Inspirational, just what I needed at this point in my career'; "a real framework to assist me in developing my leadership style"; and "I was learning so much I couldn't stop writing."
Thanks Jack for being part of our learning journey at Napoleon!
Dan Verbanac, CEO, Integrys Energy Services
"'Fully Alive Leadership' supports our on-going leadership development. Any organization will have leaders at all levels of their development, from those newly promoted to those more seasoned. Jack's message and presentation is timely and beneficial for all. He did a nice job of aligning his program to the foundational principles in our program. … His program was engaging … and an excellent reinforcement of the principles taught in our Corporate Leadership Development Program."
Dan Goldstein, President, Page1Solutions
"Awesome presentation. Great takeaways that I will begin to use today. I believe this will significantly improve our results. My most powerful take-away: 'Listening—being fully engaged—demonstrates respect and caring.' This will get my people to be more productive."
Bill Goodwin, President, Neutron Industries, Inc.
"Jack's presentation was exceptional. Anyone who is in a leadership role can benefit from his easily implementable ideas to become a fully alive leader. My most powerful take-away is to take control of my life and become focused on what matters."
Jeff Haas, CEO, Ideacom Communications Group, Inc.
"The past two years in business have been difficult to say the least and as we have gone deeper into the economic slowdown, the stress levels get higher. ... My focus changed without me fully realizing it and that in turn threw my balance off. ... I became one crappy leader for my staff and I am sure a bad partner at home. Thanks for the gentle nudge. I got the wake-up call and am working on getting back on track. Also, and maybe most importantly, thanks for making me remember my WOW! moments."

Fully Alive Leadership
Success in leadership is all about drawing out the best - the A-Game - from those who look to us for leadership. Another way to say that is that the greatest leadership draws out the greatest follwership and that is driven by how leaders show up with followers. That impacts people's "wanna" and that determines whether they are fully engaged, giving their best. And in this age of new and expanded uncertainty, the demand for us to be the best...
"Virtual Presentation" Leading in Uncertain Times
People crave certainty and stability. We like feeling in control of our circumstances and that we know what's coming. But a crisis undermines all that and leaves people afraid. It's really hard to do our best in these circumstances, which is why Fully Alive Leadership - Leading in This Uncertain Time is the right program right now.
Success in leadership is all about drawing out the best -...
Keeping the Best
What if 84% of workers are looking for a new job this year?
Studies tell us that a very high percentage of employees are biding their time until they can leave for what they think will be greater opportunity. There is substantial discontent among workers and many have stayed where they are only because of business uncertainty or lack of opportunity. Some of those people might be your best...
The Three Principles of Employee Engagement
Employee engagement has been the buzz for several years, especially in HR circles. It's all about the level of discretionary effort employees are giving and the statistics are dreadfully poor. Only about 18% are giving their best, while about 20% are "actively disengaged." That means that they are doing just enough to avoid being fired or, worse, they are causing discontent among your other employees.
The...
