BC, CANADABorn and raised a short distance from Montreal, Quebec, Martin attended university in Montreal and moved to Edmonton in 1990. In 2002 Martin started his speaking career as an entertainer. In 2008 Martin entered the World Championship of Public Speaking and finished in the top 10 out of 30,000 contestants. From this experience Martin wrote his first book, "The Booya Guide to Great Public Speaking" and started working as a keynote speaker across western Canada. Martin also helped co-write the best selling book, "1000 Tips for Teenagers".
Martin is now President of Booya Seminars. The company organizes eductional events for entrepreneurs interested in positioning themselves as experts in their industry through speaking and writing.
As of 2015 courses will be offered online or via live events in Montreal.
