Belle DuCharme
Belle DuCharme has been a dedicated dental professional for more than thirty years. Her experience includes many years in the clinical arena as an expanded functions dental assistant/dental assistant trainer and even more experience in dental business administration/management and treatment coordination. Solo practices and multiple doctor specialty practices have experienced positive growth, improved team communications and profitability with Belle's systems for success. Many years of experience have taught Belle that without consistent operational standards in place resulting chaos and staff turnover cause practices to suffer long term effects.
When workplace operation standards are clearly communicated, many benefits come to the patients, doctors and team members. Working with a successful dental consulting firm as a consultant, advanced business trainer and writer has given her the platform to do training seminars all over the United States and Canada. Writing an e-newsletter column for 6 years to a subscriber list of 56,000 has helped Belle become part of dental practices all over the world.
The challenge to improve communication skills led Belle to Toastmaster's International, rising to Accredited Toastmaster Bronze level in just a couple of years. Belle also achieved the Competent Leader award and challenged herself by entering Table Topics and Inspirational Speech contests through the club level and moving up to the division level.
An interest in safety plans, crisis prevention and the rising workplace violence issues motivated Belle to become involved with the American Red Cross as a CPR/AED instructor and a volunteer for the American Red Cross Outreach programs as a speaker.
