Angela graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also earned multiple graduate degrees from Strayer University, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Information Technology. Her professional certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Six Sigma Black Belt.
Angela serves the community as the PMI Educational Foundation Liaison, providing project management education and support to local non-profit organizations. She also serves as the Communications Director for the National Speakers Association – Virginia Chapter. Angela is an active member of the Project Management Institute (Central Virginia Chapter), National Speakers Association, US Figure Skating, and Toastmasters International.
