Since 2004, she's performed her award-winning keynotes and workshops at conferences in Canada and the US helping health professionals, individuals, families and Fortune 500 companies better understand the 'insider's' experience of mental illness, recovery and the return to work.
She's blogged for Psychology Today for over 10 years and her acting credits include roles opposite X-files' David Duchovony, John Travolta and Johnny Depp, among others.
She's a researcher with CREST.BD, an international team studying bipolar disorder. Her media credits include CNN, CTV national, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Women's Health UK.
Her keynote 'That's Just Crazy Talk' was named one of the top anti-stigma interventions by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and has helped start thousands of conversations about mental health.
