
Juan Alfaro
Over the many years he has dedicated to corporate responsibility, Juan Alfaro has become an internationally recognized expert in this field. As an executive in this area in various Spanish and foreign companies, he has played an active role participating in numerous business schools and universities. Furthermore, he stands out as being an exceptional international speaker, public policy advisor to different governments and promoting responsible practice in global companies.
Having completed a law degree in San Pablo CEU University, he continued his studies in the IE Business School, completing a postgraduate course, a Master in Commercial Management & Marketing, and later a Corporate Social Responsibility Program in the Harvard Business School.
Alfaro is Secretary General for the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad, a non-profit business association made up of 25 multinational companies who believe in sustainable growth in the business, social and environmental spheres, focused on Spain and Latin America.
Currently a member of the Spanish National Corporate Social Responsibility Council, he is actively involved in CSR Europe, the most important European network in this field, and in setting up public policies which promote corporate responsibility.
He is also the Head of the IE Business School's Advanced Corporate Responsibility Program, in which Corporate Responsibility Managers for multinational and Latin American companies are trained.
