As a consultant and speaker, she specializes in working with leaders who are looking for ways to address the fear, inertia, confusion and resistance that can paralyze performance and slow transformation efforts. Whether she is consulting, coaching, creating communication campaigns, or delivering custom keynotes - her focus is on helping her clients mobilize and sustain energy for change.
Since founding T3 Consulting in 2001, Wendy has helped dozens of companies such as Northrop Grumman, Freddie Mac, and AOL plan and implement large-scale change initiatives. Wendy and the T3 team have also created customized training programs, performance management tools, and employee brand-awareness campaigns for a variety of clients in the high-tech, not-for-profit, and government services industries. In addition, organizations such as OSI Restaurant Partners, the U.S. Geological Survey, and ManTech International have hired Wendy to create and deliver custom presentations on leading change.
Before founding T3, Wendy was director of Training and Development Services for HumanR. In this capacity, she led a team of consultants who developed and delivered customer service, performance management, sales, interviewing, and new hire training programs. Wendy also facilitated focus groups, conducted and analyzed exit interviews, and designed employee surveys. Prior to joining HumanR, Wendy designed and delivered sales training programs for Huthwaite, Inc. She began her career in training with the Berlitz Language Center in Washington, D.C. where her responsibilities as the Method Director included hiring, training, and supervising a staff of more than 60 instructors.
Wendy has appeared on television and is often cited as a subject matter expert in the press. Her contributions to the fields of change communication and leadership include her newly released book, Change at the Core, and the popular e-books, Transforming Anxiety into Energy and Leading after Layoffs.
Wendy holds an M.A. in Organizational Communication from the University of Maryland. She is an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators, the National Speakers Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. She and her husband reside in Woodland Park, Colorado.
