TX, USRobert Barnhill is a licensed attorney, CPA/PFS, CFP who focuses on estate planning, retirement planning and individual tax issues. He is an adjunct professor at Texas Tech University in the Financial Planning Department where he has taught estate planning, retirement planning and is currently teaching advance individual taxation. He has conducted continuing education courses in 48 states and conducts around 70 courses a year primarily to CPAs. He is an author of books on fiduciary income taxation, transfer taxation, business law, and leadership. Robert is a past president of Toastmasters International and has been awarded the Accredited Speaker's designation by Toastmasters International. In addition, Robert is a survivor. During high school, he survived the near loss of his right hand. While in law school, he survived cancer twice. A month after opening his law/accounting firm, he survived an airplane crash. In the 80s, he survived a failed business venture. Robert survived the burial of both parents on the same day. Currently, Robert is an ALS survivor. Not only does Robert provide "bottom-line" solutions for his clients and audiences, he instills hope for those facing life's challenges.
