The last three years she has spent in Corporate America and in earning a second Master's Degree, this one in the Science of Managment. In order for Corporate America to run like a finely-tuned instrument, it must BE a finely-tuned instrument! The principles of harmony in music are the same as the principles of harmony in business.

Rita began her "stage" life at age three which developed into a full-time travel-performance life by age 19. After being awarded second place for female soloist in the Florida Gospel Music Awards, her performance career soared. She became a member of the movie cast, "Kent State Riot," starred in numerous TV commercials and made hundreds of TV appearances from news programs to full TV specials. Three years in a row, Rita was a finalist in the Mrs. Alabama Pageant resulting in a contract pageant judging position with a national pageant, judging pageants from Maine to Florida.

Since 1982 Rita has enjoyed her own, very successful, performing arts studio teaching private voice, public speaking, stage presence, leadership, personal development, wellness, motivation, and stress/anger management. She has trained hundreds of students, from ages 6 to 90, and from all walks of life. She designed and directed yearly revues with casts of up to 120 including speaking, singing, dancing and drama! In 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003 she performed at Carnegie Hall in New York with her choirs. She has also been a popular columnist for over 30 years.

Rita has an Associate Degree in Vocal Performance, a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Music, a Master's Degree in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Public Administration, Emergency Management and Counseling, and upon finishing the last two classes with have a second Master's Degree, in the Science of Management.

Rita has the ability to reach the heart and render change, individually or corporately. Actions delivered by rote will soon dissipate; actions delivered from the abundance of motivation can change the world. She can show you how to change the world...at least your world! She grew Galleria Woods Retirement Commumity (Entry Fee CCRC) from 62.5% to over 95% occupancy in 2 years through speaking engagements, mass marketing, personal connections and LifeStyle Leadership.

Rita is a member of the National Speakers Association, President Elect of the Alabama Speakers Association, President of Network Birmingham, Co-Founder of BBSM (Beyond the Basics of Social Media) and a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs.  She loves a challenge and cherishes adventure!
