Lin Mitchell is a consultant, coach, and certified facilitator with Franklin Covey in the government, corporate, and education areas.  She is a Qualified and Certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Professional.  She coaches and instructs for the UNC-CH Kenan-Flagler E/WMBA Business School. She teaches for the American Management Association (AMA) and the North Carolina Community College System.  

She works with a number of businesses in the fields of Health Care, Law Enforcement, Industry, and Education.  Customers include:  Veteran's Health Administration, MetLife, SPX, InVue Security, NC Board of Funeral Services, and many others.  

She is a former full-time Management Communications Instructor in the daytime MBA program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.  She has been on the faculty at Duke since 1986 where she served as a Clinical Associate and Director of Activity Therapy in the Department of Psychiatry and taught in the Clinical Arts Program of the Duke Medical School School.  she served for two years as Interim Operations Manager for the Duke Institution Review Board (IRB), served as a Care Management Facilitator developing clinical practice standards, was the Coordinator of Continuting Education in the Hospital Education Department, and was Management Consultant and Instructor in Human Resources Learning and Organization Development.  

She conducts many seminars, retreats and workshops on management issues, effective communication, professional and personal development, in addition to wellness and prevention topics with her "down-to-earth" style that offers many insights, strategies and practical tips.
