He is a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the University of Georgia, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies and has earned his Masters in Business Administration from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England. He has received numerous leadership, scholarship, academic, and community awards throughout his career. He has been featured in several journals and articles as well as the textbook: Careers in Focus-Family and Consumer Studies.
Kenneth's professional career spans over thirty years in the hospitality, training, non-profit, and academic industries serving in various leadership roles from District Manager, Vice-President of Operations, Regional Vice-President to Chief Operating Officer with firms such as Marriott Education Services, SodexoUSA, Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts, and Creative Dining Services. Kenneth is a Certified Personality Temperament Facilitator with True Colors International, Inc. and Insight Learning Foundation, Certified Food and Beverage Executive by the American Hotel and Lodging Association and Food Management Professional by the National Restaurant Association.
In addition, he is a ManageFirst Instructor, Culinary Instructor, Certified ServSafe Instructor, and Registered Examination Proctor for the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association and Certified Food Safety Manager by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. He has also served as an Online Faculty member of the Art Institute of Pittsburg Online Division and Visiting Faculty member in the School of Business at North Carolina Central University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality in Surrey, UK.
