Abby Marks Beale is a speed reading expert and a business productivity specialist who enjoys helping busy professionals work smarter, faster and just plain better. Abby guides people to be the best they can be at work, at home, in their relationships and in their health. Her programs on faster reading, email management and time and stress management help people reduce workplace stress through the knowledge of skills. Most recently after 10 years of study, Abby has added the title of nationally certified classical homeopath to her activities.

Abby is the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Speed Reading, 10 Days to Faster Reading and a college study skills textbook entitled Success Skills: Strategies for Study and Lifelong Learning (3rd edition). She recently created an online course called Rev It Up Reading: Getting Up To Speed With What You Read now available for individual learning and for corporate and school licensing.
Abby is the Founder and Past-President of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Speakers Association. She also holds a long-time professional affiliation with the National Speaker's Association (NSA). She is currently on the board of both The National Center for Homeopathy and the Wallingford Public Library.
Her formal education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and French from Boston University and a Master's Degree in Adult Education from Southern Connecticut State University. She considers her formal education as just a starting point in the life-long process in learning how to learn.
