Meet Dr. Nicole B. Simpson, CFP®, an African American woman who endured significant physical, emotional and economic trauma throughout her childhood and because she was stuck on 44th floor of 2 World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 as America was being attacked. Dr. Simpson takes you on a journey addressing how the trauma of America has impacted families and what are the underlying financial ramifications. She helps you to explore methods to cope with what is uncontrollable and plan for the unanticipated. Acknowledging trauma is step one to recovery. However, to dismiss its economic impact creates untimely, vulnerabilities that can be managed to help a business, a family, an individual recover during, arguably, the most uncertain century the country has ever encountered.

She is the visionary and CEO of Generation X Community Association and an entrepreneur. In January 2016, she embarked on a new life journey becoming the Pastor of Micah 7 Ministries located in Piscataway, NJ. Simpson has authored several books; Planning for A Reason, a Season, and a Lifetime, The Ultimate Plan...A Financial Survival Guide for Life's Unexpected Events which was nationally distributed through Tate Publishing and Dare 2 Dream...Pushing Past Your Pain to Pursue Purpose, a book that changes the lives of everyone who reads it. It later became her first Amazon best seller. In June 2011, she released 9/11/01 A Long Road Toward Recovery, her second best-selling book. The book reflected upon the challenges of World Trade Center survivors who were neglected emotionally and economically. In January 2014, she released her fifth book titled Personal Prayer for all Occasions and her highly anticipated sixth title addressing how to recognize the voice of God has been recently released: Listen and Learn How God Speaks to You. She completed her Masters of Divinity degree at New Brunswick Theological Seminary in May 2016 Magna Cum Laude.
