“See It, Believe It Do It!”

 

Gwin Minter is an, author, speaker, registered nurse and the owner of Get Motivated with Gwin, Inc. Gwin loves people and has spoken to audiences in all types of venues and on versatile topics all across Kentucky and nationally. Currently she has completed her first book titled, "See It In Your Mind, Believe It In Your Heart, Do It By Faith" inspired by her motto, "See It, Believe It, Do It", which will be accompanied by an audio version on CD expected summer of 2010. Her passion is being able to encourage and motivate others for change, and believes if you can visualize it, internalize it, then you can do it!

 

With the release of her book she has been able to reach a much larger audience by appearing on television talk shows, talk radio programs, and currently her book is already being sold in over 11 countries. Her blog, Get motivated with Gwin's blog has inspired people from across the world to dig deeper in order to reveal their passions and find their destiny.

 

As a motivational speaker, Gwin is able to touch lives of many through laughter, tears and a transparent honesty that insists she "Keep It Real." Her passion for people and her love for God is genuine and contagious, as most leave inspired with a desire for change.

 

Gwin wants to motivate people to work harder, live better and never forget anything is possible with God. Her interactive approach with her audience keeps them actively engaged and craving for more so they leave feeling refueled, refreshed and motivated to conquer the world, whether physically, emotionally or spiritually. Most importantly, Gwin wants to be remembered as a faithful servant doing the will of God.

 

Before becoming a full-time speaker Gwin enjoyed a successful career in the medical profession for over 20 years. Her areas of medical expertise include Family Practice Medicine, Private Duty/Home Health industry, Nurse management and Child Abuse Prevention where she helped develop the first medically based child abuse prevention Curriculum geared to medical professionals in the state of KY. She has currently been employed by KY State University working with a grant that recruits minority and unprivileged high school students that have a desire to become a registered nurse.

 

Gwin has a genre of areas that she has had the opportunity to speak from and in several capacities, which include keynotes, lecturer, trainer, workshop speaker and medical consultant. These roles have allowed her access to high schools, universities, faith-based platforms, professional settings, women's conferences, and medical institutions. Gwin is a born leader but learned early that in order to lead you must first learn to be a good follower. This is why she does not hesitate to tackle what is ahead of her because she knows 'Whom' she is following.
