Melanie Klinghoffer, JD, LLM, is the founder of Powerful Transformations, a Human Potential Training Company. She helps organizations develop authentic leaders and strategically transform the workplace with win-win solutions.

Prior to founding her own business, Melanie served for 20 years as a senior manager and executive leader -to small private family-owned businesses and large public companies- in the staffing & recruiting industry including the legal contract staffing practice of Major, Lindsey & Africa® the world's leading legal search firm & member of The Allegis Group, Inc. the largest staffing company in the United States.

Melanie taught Organizational Development at the university level for 7 years and is also a certified advanced facilitator, a court-trained mediator and a formally educated lawyer. She has written articles published internationally in the Toastmaster Magazine and nationally in the Legal Times (an ALM publication) and The Legal Intelligencer.

Melanie lives an authentically powerful life infused with passion, positive energy, peak performance and play! Her own story of resilience, perseverance and transformation taught her the importance of living authentically and taking the lead in her own life, work and business. Overcoming many areas of personal and professional adversity while in top leadership roles, Melanie is dedicated to empowering leaders at all levels helping them confidently breakthrough internal and external barriers to achieve desired success.

Melanie lives in La Jolla, the jewel of Southern California, within 5 minutes walking distance to the ocean! She loves performing Improv, writing, traveling, dark chocolate and spiritual exploration.
