Deon Clark
Deon Clark is a powerful, charismatic and engaging motivational speaker who helps today’s youth to unlock their potential and set their course for success.
Prior to establishing himself as a professional speaker, Deon spent over 8 years in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Plant Operator and as a Nuclear Power Operations Instructor. It was during this time that Deon truly began to understand that you can do anything you put your mind to, regardless of where you come from.
At the young age of 29, Deon, is a college graduate, has successfully started 2 businesses, obtained a Senior Nuclear Reactor Operator Instructor certification, and is one of the very few African American’s qualified to teach Nuclear Power Operations.
Though successful, Deon is no stranger to the issues and hardships facing many of today’s youth. He was born in Harvey and raised in Robbins and Markham, IL, all of which are cities plagued by gangs, violence and drugs. These humble beginnings are the source of Deon’s passion and drive to not only motivate, but to help provide the resources necessary for today’s youth to succeed.
Deon captures his audience and holds their attention by involving them in relevant yet exciting dialogue and seminars. He talks “with” today’s youth not “to” them, and engages them as only Deon can. He has a very strong yet compassionate presence, and he creates an environment in which the youth become inspired to achieve success.
Deon is the Founder and President of, “Your Time Is Now”, a nonprofit organization that helps today’s youth to realize their potential and reach for their dreams.
