Laurie began her career as part of the pre-opening team at Casino Niagara, where she was responsible for training more than twenty-five hundred employees. Later, she was recruited by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission to deliver the pre-opening customer service and leadership training for the racetrack slots and charity casinos. Laurie has worked with a variety of small business associations and Fortune 500 companies. Her customer service programs have been recognized by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and her clients have experienced increased customer satisfaction ratings, #2 employer in Canada, and numerous rewards and recognition. She has worked with brands such as White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa, BDO, CUMA, Niagara Health Systems, HRPA, Canadian Chiropractic Association, CMHA, Leadership USA, Steeves & Rozema Group, Henry Schein, IAVM to name a few.


Laurie is one of only 61 Canadians to have received the Certified Speaker Professional (CSP) Designation through the National Speakers Association (NSA). Most recently, Laurie graduated from Stanford University CCARE from the ACT program, where her team resilience program was chosen to be featured on their website. She is also a Certified Executive Coach, holding a PCC designation. Additionally, Laurie is a Certified Trainer, Training Designer, and Facilitator, and she holds certifications in Human Resource Management, Lab Profile, DISC, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Personality Dimensions, and Working Genius.
