Pat Bohse knows how to help nonprofits identify their strengths and leverage their best assets – whether that's through Strategic Planning, Board Development, Succession Planning or Management.

As President and CEO of Bohse & Associates, LLC., Pat provides strategic leadership, oversight, and advocacy in the nonprofit sector. Over the past 45 years, she has been instrumental in empowering organizations to unlock value, optimize operations, and achieve transformational growth. Since 1989, her innovative approaches have helped nonprofits build assets, cut costs, and thrive.

As a nationally recognized speaker and member of the National Speakers Association, Pat offers inspirational guidance on Succession Planning, Board Development, and organizational strategy. Through customized consultations, coaching sessions, workshops, and webinars, she equips government and nonprofit leaders with actionable tools for success.

Previously, as Executive Director of SCAN (Senior Citizens Activities Network), Pat revitalized the organization into a dynamic adult social education and resource center, expanding its reach across Monmouth and Ocean counties in New Jersey. Under her leadership, SCAN enhanced the lives of active adults through socialization, education, technology, and targeted resources. In response to the pandemic, she pioneered a virtual senior center platform, ensuring seniors remained connected - a program that continues to serve the community today.

Pat’s expertise extends to aging services, where she has contributed extensively as the former Association Manager for New Jersey’s 21 County Offices on Aging (NJ4A). She provided strategic planning, meeting facilitation, and operational guidance, supporting statewide initiatives. Currently, she chairs the Monmouth County Senior Advisory Council. From 2003 to 2018, she also served on the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP) board of directors.

An educator at heart, Pat is an adjunct instructor in Brookdale Community College’s Nonprofit Certification Program. She holds academic credentials in Business Administration and Sociology and is a graduate of Columbia University’s Nonprofit Management Institute.

Pat’s contributions have earned her widespread recognition, including the Reverend Robert V. Lott Humanitarian Award from Live On NY and the "Leader of Distinction in the Field of Aging" honor from SCAN. Her achievements have been celebrated across Monmouth County and New Jersey.

Pat’s legacy is one of transformation, innovation, and unwavering dedication to improving lives through the power of nonprofits.
