Helping you make the most of your next 30 years!

Valerie is a firm believer in balance in life. A person's lifeplan should reflect that person's interests while taking into account all the forces that will impact daily life. As with all things in life, if you are informed then you can make the best possible decision for your life. If life throws you a curve ball, it may take time but you can get back on track and enjoying life to the fullest.

Valerie's  balanced approach stems from her diverse background and hobbies. Her varied careers include Emergency R.N., interpreter -  Museums Canada in Ottawa, to  CBC Production Staff before entering the financial world.  Harnessing her solid financial  management education acquired in well-known Canadian companies like Great West Life Assurance, ManuLife Financial, PPI Financial and Bank of Montreal, Valerie has successfully operated VCW Financial since 1997.  As a certified financial planner, Valerie serves clients in several Canadian provinces and several countries.

Valerie was raised to believe that as part of a community, one has an obligation to give back to the community that allows one to flourish. Involved in volunteer work since age 14, Valerie continues to be very active, giving of her time to the community where she lives, to her church and to special interest groups. Valerie enjoys speaking with reporters to bring her ideas to Canadians. She has been quoted in The Financial Post, Toronto Star, Globe & Mail, Winnipeg Men Magazine, CBC, 50 Plus, Chatelaine and many more.
