Marcel Strigberger

I give a talk called, Firefighting-extinguishing problems before they rage out of control. As well I give presentations on how anyone can safely use humour in all aspects of their lives. I also give humourous entertaining talks about the law or legal issues or the practice of law.

Something about Marcel Strigberger     

Marcel Strigberger is a whimsical humourist trapped inside the body of a litigation lawyer.  His humour articles have appeared in a variety of publications including The Toronto Star,  The Globe And Mail, Punch, Stitches (The Journal of Medical Humour), Doctor's Review, Dentist's Guide, The Canadian Jewish News, The Law Society of Upper Canada Gazette, The Canadian Lawyer,  Lawyers' Weekly, Legal Times (Washington), The Pennsylvania Lawyer, The New Jersey Lawyer  The Toastmaster, Law Times, The California Lawyer, Eye Witness (Hong Kong) and others.  

He is the author of the book, Birth, Death and other Trivialities, a humourous philosophical look at the human condition.  Marcel also operates with his son Daniel, a website, legalhumour.com.  This website features an array of legal humour including news items, blawgs on topical legal events, cartoons, satires, Lord Denning musings and anything humourous legally (other than lawyer jokes ). 

He is a frequent speaker on the topic of humour and he has also written on the subject of using humour to enhance one’s practice of law. Marcel can provide entertaining talks on a broad range of legal subjects and issues from civility, to mediation to trials and more.

Marcel also is an expert at conflict resolution and problem prevention. He gives a talk entitled, "Firefighting- extinguishing torubles before they rage out of control."
