Joni Daniels has dedicated her career to helping people. Whether it’s executives and leadership teams designing and delivering strategies that enable their organizations to thrive in changing environments, professionals seeking to develop the strategies and skills that will allow them to accomplish their objectives, or individuals who are seeing a motivational speaker to create their drive to move forward, Joni specializes in guiding those who must reshape their plans, and goals in the face of changing demands and needs. She assists people in building strategic readiness through an integration of work and learning. Her clients seek her advice on issues related to organizational design, management skills, empowerment, and strategies for change and leadership development. Prior to founding her own consulting practice in 1989, she held internal positions in Training and Development and Human Resource departments in companies such as Independence Bancorp, Inc., Kulick and Soffa Industries, Inc., CIGNA Corporation, and Sun Company, providing organizational development services, leadership development seminars and coaching support at all organizational levels. Prior positions include Executive Recruiting and creating an Alternative Education Program in upstate New York. Joni received her M.S. degree in Counseling and her B.A. degree in English. In addition, she holds a certificate in Organizational Development from the Philadelphia OD Network. A recognized authority in the field of professional and personal empowerment, and leadership development, Joni was an Instructor for the Wharton Small Business Development Center at the University of Pennsylvania for ten years and her book Power Tools for Women®: Plugging Into the Essential Skills for Work and Life, (published by Three Rivers Press, a division of Crown Publishing Group/Random House, published in 2002) is in it’s third printing. Frequently quoted in business publications, she is a contributing author for the Baltimore Business Journal and CityBizList and is an Instructor at Towson University in the Business School. She serves on the Board of the Fuel Fund of Maryland and is a member of the American Society of Training and Development, the Organizational Development Network, and the National Speakers Association.
