Mylai Tenner is a motivational speaker, best selling author, educational consultant for school districts and educational facilities. His professional experience includes college professor, college basketball coach, law enforcement officer, professional football player, and K-12 education administrator. Despite a childhood molded of welfare, drugs, domestic abuse and single parent family home, Mylai graduated from high school in the top half of his class. Overcoming the odds and a diagnosis of ADHD, he went on to achieve both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Mylai is currently finishing his PHD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Iowa State University in Ames Iowa.
It is his own life experience that motivates Mylai’s passion for education and motivational enrichment. He has spoken to hundreds of students and individuals, at the primary, secondary and college level about achieving their dreams and pursuing their goals one day at a time, the right way.
