Derek G. Hodges, B.Sc., MIET (aka the "British Fox")

The "British Fox" graduated from the University of Salford in England with a BSc. Degree in Electronic Computer Systems, he worked for IBM for 13 years in the research and development labs in a software engineering and project management role; largely based in the USA interfacing with software publishers promoting IBM PC products under development. He left IBM in 1990 and joined Mathematica, Inc. where he was President and CEO until 1994. Subsequent to Mathematica, he started Turbosales, Inc. which was a company launched to help business owners increase sales through the use of the internet. Since then Turbosales has enabled thousands of companies, in South Florida and throughout the world, to obtain free web pages on his "Fox Business Network"  portal system. He worked closely with many of the companies who had taken advantage of these free pages to develop fully functional internet commerce sites. These internet commerce sites now generate over 3 million dollars per year of revenue, and are run exclusively by the "British Fox".

In building his business over the last 14 years the "British Fox" has extensive experience in search engine optimization, he or his companies became a Network Solutions Partner, Godaddy Super Reseller and a Qualified Google Advertising Professional. He also is President of Net Patrol, Inc. a not for profit company, whose goal is to foster ethical internet commerce.

The "British Fox" now shares his experiences as a Public Speaker, with the goal to educate and inspire his audience on the complex world of eCommerce.
