He is the winner of seven Emmy Awards for television writing and commentary. He was the narrator of The Teammates, an ESPN documentary that was nominated for three 2004 Emmy Awards.
He has performed Teddy at the Bat, his memorial tribute to the late Ted Williams, before twenty five thousand people in Boston’s Fenway Park and also at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, and in other cities across the country.
