Kamran excels in the field of inspirational leadership and building enduring organizations that play on human strengths. He has a wealth of cross-cultural experience having worked in Europe, South Asia and the Middle East for over thirty years. He founded KZR – a leading consulting and training firm and pioneered the self-improvement and organizational development (OD) movement in Pakistan in 1991. KZR has since spawned Navitus (www.navitus.biz), School of Leadership (www.sol.edu.pk) and other commercial and non-profit entities. Kamran serves on the boards of Navitus and SoL, and is CEO of the Intercultural Communication and Leadership School (ICLS: www.intercivilization.net) headquartered in Rome. Kamran’s passion in organizational renewal and leadership succession is reflected in his writing, speaking, and consulting. He is the author of several management articles that are published monthly in Pakistan’s leading business magazine, Blue Chip (www.bluechipmag.com). Kamran also loves working with young leaders around the world by focusing on community leadership that fosters cooperation between people of different ethnic, faith and cultural backgrounds. He holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, UK, where he majored in organization development, with special emphasis on the role of corporate culture in sustaining growth of any enterprise. He is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Inc., having completed courses in Management, Executive Image, Effective Speaking and Human Relations. He has attended a number of courses that include “Leadership for the 21st Century”, at the J F K School of Government, Harvard University, Dr Peter Senge’s “The Learning Organization – Building a Sustainable Future”, and “Strategic Leadership and Change Management” at the Wharton SMU Program, in Singapore. Kamran is an approved training resource for members of YPO (Young President’s Organization), headquartered in the United States. Prior to founding KZR in Pakistan in 1991, Kamran lived and worked in London for twenty years. He is currently based in Pakistan and visits Canada regularly for networking and research purposes. He is a professional member of CAPS and also a member of two Toastmasters clubs in Greater Vancouver, BC. Kamran travels extensively on voluntary and paid speaking and consulting engagements mainly in Europe and South Asia, and is presently exploring opportunities in North America. Kamran is married and has three grown up children.
