A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Attorney Angela J. Reddock relocated to Compton, California with her mother when she was nine years old.  Growing up in Compton and as the only daughter of a single mother, Ms. Reddock knows first hand the challenges of growing up in urban America today.  Despite such challenges, she is a shining example of the power of overcoming obstacles to achieve one’s God-given destiny and purpose. 

Ms. Reddock is the Founding and Managing Partner of the Reddock Law Group located in Los Angeles and is a noted and leading attorney in the Southern California legal community.  Known for developing creative solutions to challenging legal problems, Ms. Reddock has advised corporate executives, in-house counsel, and human resource professionals on a variety of employment and labor law matters.  She represents employers exclusively in all aspects of employment and labor law, including in the litigation of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, public policy claims, and wage and hour disputes.  She also conducts corporate investigations, legal compliance audits, and corporate enhancement trainings on such topics and preventing sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.  Ms. Reddock also assists employers in developing employee handbooks and personnel policies.  

Ms. Reddock has twice been named a “Rising Star” in labor and employment law in the Southern California edition of Super Lawyers.  She also has been a legal commentator for KCAL/KCBS Channel 2 and 9 News, and is heavily involved in civic affairs at the state and local levels. But before these things were to be accomplished, Ms. Reddock headed eastward to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College in Massachusetts, where she graduated cum laude. During her years at Amherst, she earned the Kellogg Prize in public speaking, and spent a semester studying at England’s Oxford University.  

Upon returning to the West Coast, Ms. Reddock completed a one year fellowship in public policy and public affairs with the Coro Foundation in Los Angeles.  Thereafter, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Los Angeles, where she served as an editor of the National Black Law Journal and as a member of the Women’s Law Journal. While at UCLA, she externed for the Honorable Terry Hatter, Jr. of the United States District Court, Central District of California.  

Ms. Reddock has had a distinguished career as an attorney and before starting the Reddock Law Group, worked with some of the nation’s leading law firms. Always seeking to expand her perspective and find new ways to serve, Ms. Reddock has offered her talents through numerous civic and non-profit board activities.  The combination of her experiences has provided Ms. Reddock with unique understanding and insight to the realities facing business-owners and employers today.
