Johnny Burns
Served as a C.E.O.of several hospitals, a sales rep for an international company, a helicopter test pilot in the U.S. Army, with a little stand-up comedy on the side.
He and his son, Adam Burns, also conduct humorous presentations on transgenerational leadership entitled "Igniting Transgenerational Energy in Your Organization."
Mr. Burns is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served in hospital and medical administration for over twenty years. He has been a CEO of three Medical Surgical Community Hospitals and a Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Hospital, as well as serving as a Medical Group Practice Administrator.
He also served as an army officer, a paratrooper, and a helicopter test pilot for the 82d Airborne Division. He is a co-author of the book “A Healthier You!”, with Deepak Chopra and Billy Blanks. As CEO of the psychiatric hospital, Mr. Burns is credited with implementing the first Humor Therapy program in Houston. He has also performed at comedy clubs and was featured for two years with his son in Houston's Funniest Person Contest at The Laff Stop. Mr. Burns' presentations on Customer Service, Stress, Success, and Leadership are fun and functional. He has presented to major companies and associations across the country.
