Max Kathleen Latham
“Max” Latham is a dynamic, motivating speaker with over 15,000 platform hours to her credit. She has inspired and entertained audiences around the world – from Australia to Great Britain, from Guam to Florida. She is a true “Edutainer.”
For the past twelve years she has enjoyed the privilege of being a frequent speaker to both industry and professional associations. She is a published author, and among her credits are several articles published by the Los Angeles Times. In addition, she had the privilege of hosting a radio talk show program called "Women Going Places," a program designed to explore women's business concerns as well as their personal journeys to success.
“Max” brings a strong business and communication background to her work, as well as an in-depth knowledge of organizational development and human behavior. Her background includes consulting for a Big-Eight CPA firm, Arthur Young & Co., now Ernst & Young, where she was a manager of consulting in their Los Angeles/Orange County, CA, practice.
"Max" is a graduate of Ohio State University with a major in Marketing. At Chapman College and Coastline College in Orange County, California, “Max” was a member of the adjunct faculty. She was appointed to the Advisory Board for the Coastline College Women's conference for three consecutive years and is a member of the Board of Directors for several organizations. She believes in continual learning and is currently enhancing her knowledge base through a PhD program in psychology.
Three years ago, "Max" ventured into the world of ballroom dance. She met an extraordinary dance teacher. He mentored her dance. As she pursued excellence in this endeavor, she discovered that Ballroom Dance had many personal and professional lessons for her. The principles of dance seemed to offer tenets applicable to success. As she transformed her dancing, she enhanced her own self-growth. Finally, the speaker and educator in her realized the value and power of teaching others how to apply these same success principles. “Max” joined forces with her dance teacher, and they created a dynamic program to share the principles of success they both have learned – a program that incorporates dance and education. She delights in integrating her passion for dance with the fulfillment of her personal mission to "act as a catalyst for growth so that through her work, she stimulates others to achieve their personal brilliance."
“Max” consistently maintains program evaluation scores ranking 9.5 or above on a ten-point scale. Her clients frequently entrust their most important educational and motivational programs to her and regularly invite her to return.
