Jeanne helps authors move their book from idea to bookstore shelf. 

Jeanne takes a leading role in her community and has been recognized with the Canada 125 Medal, the YWCA Women of Distinction Award, the Centennial Leadership Award for outstanding contribution to the Province of Saskatchewan, the Athena Award, and the EMCY Award (Canada's Award for Diversity). Jeanne has been listed in Who's Who of Canadian Women since 1996 and Canadian Who's Who since 1999. She is Past President of Saskatchewan Training and Development Association (Regina Chapter), Saskatchewan Business and Professional Women, and Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan. She was Founding President of the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS).


As an author of more than a dozen books, Jeanne has long been a book coach and consultant to other authors. In 2020, she launched Wood Dragon Books, a hybrid publisher based in Mossbank, Saskatchewan. As well as speaking at writers' conferences on the publishing industry and leading workshops on authorship, she also is Chair of the WDB Young Author Competition that brings great books written by young authors to the bookshelf.
