Darren L. Johnson is an international speaker, consultant, and author of the book titled Letting Go of Stuff' . He has over 20 years of combined managing, consulting, coaching, training, and speaking experience. His specific areas of expertise are in team development, diversity, total system redesign, and personal coaching. A graduate of American University's Masters of Science in Organization Development program, Darren has worked with over 100 clients and led over 75 interventions since 1994. His client list includes Rohm Corporation, Rotary International, National Minority AIDS Council, Thomas Nelson Publishing, and California State University-Cal/Poly.
His book uses theory, philosophy, and his personal life experiences to teach a seven-step process for managing negative thoughts, toxic relationships, and for changing bad habits. In 1995 he created the Letting Go of Stuff ' series, which includes his signature speech/seminar, the previously mentioned book, and a CD Audio titled: The Art of Letting Go of Stuff.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Darren worked as an internal OD specialist for Nissan and Hughes Aircraft, and was in management at General Motors. Under his leadership, the participant levels of Nissan USA 's Involvement Circle program more than doubled in the early 90's.
