Rosita Hall
Rosita Hall holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor. During her 23 years in the social services profession, she counseled children with behavioral and learning difficulties, advocated and supported abused women and their children, and served as an Executive Director of a social service agency in Hamilton, Ontario. Rosita spent 13 years in this leadership position and quickly learned the importance of heart to heart relationships as the key to creating a culture of excellence and developing and extraordinary team. Rosita was honored (to her surprise) with many awards for her accomplishments while serving in the role as Executive Director.
She was a nominee for the Woman of the Year for the City of Hamilton, and was named First Lady of the Year by the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and given the Remarkable Woman of the year Award by the Ruebena Willis Counseling Center in Ajax, Ontario during her tenure as a Social Worker and Executive Director. However, Rosita counts being a wife and mother among her greatest accomplishments and most rewarding personal experiences.
In 2000, Rosita quit her job to nurture and pursue a passion that was desperate to come to life. She has never looked back and she thanks God for paving the road and giving her ongoing reassurance and wisdom to bring her passion to life. In the 7-year period since she left her full time job, Rosita has established herself as a well respected and in demand Professional Speaker, Author, and businesswoman. She has earned her Professional Designation with the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS) and is a member of the National Speakers Association. In February of 2004, she successfully launched her first book, “I Found the Answer”. Rosita has spoken to numerous organizations throughout North America about self-care, change management, leadership, teamwork and how to have fun both on and off the job! Most recently she has received her certification as a “Laughter Leader” and will be hosting her own laughter club soon!
Rosita has been published in several local and national newspapers and has made countless television appearances. She always finds time to volunteer her services in her community and abroad. Most recently she returned from New Orleans where she was volunteering her time to help rebuild the city.
Rosita speaks with passion and purpose and never allows anything to stand in the way of her passions. Her audiences have described her as emotive, dynamic, electrifying, funny, energetic and authentic. Participants have indicated that her sessions are “thought provoking and right on target!”
