Minami Yusui

Minami Yusui is a Japanese-born Broadway performer, international keynote speaker, and transformational coach based in New York City. She is known for helping individuals and organizations honor their authentic voice, expand what they believe is possible, and bring greater joy, resilience, and purpose into their work and lives. Her work invites audiences to embrace the full spectrum of what it means to be human—especially in moments of challenge, transition, and growth.

Growing up without speaking a word of English, Minami moved to New York with a dream and a suitcase full of hope. The path was anything but easy. She faced repeated rejection and self-doubt, navigating 88 auditions before landing her first opportunity as a performance intern, and spending another decade before making her Broadway debut. That journey shaped not only her career, but her deep understanding of perseverance, belief, and the inner work required to keep going when outcomes are uncertain.

With more than 20 years of professional experience in the performing arts, Minami brings a rare blend of stage presence, emotional intelligence, and leadership insight to her speaking. She supports audiences in reconnecting with their heart, mind, and body—guiding them to access their authentic voice, release limiting beliefs, and create lives and careers rooted in vitality and meaning.

Minami believes that human potential is far greater than most people are taught to believe. When individuals learn to question inherited limitations and trust themselves more fully, they unlock new levels of confidence, creativity, and fulfillment. This belief led her to found YU-project in 2014, an international platform dedicated to human development, self-leadership, and authentic expression. Through her speaking, coaching, and community work, she has supported more than 10,000 people worldwide.
