Nicki Gaskins, M.Ed., LCMHCQS (NC), LPCS (SC), is a dynamic counselor, speaker, and creative leader known for her engaging workshops and integrative approach to mental health. Dedicated to making counseling accessible and affordable for trauma survivors and families in need, Nicki and her husband founded the nonprofit, Therapy Resource Group. Her work bridges the worlds of psychology, leadership, and art—offering a distinctive blend of clinical expertise and creative insight.

A Certified Dare to Lead™ facilitator and sought-after national and regional speaker, Nicki is recognized for her thought-provoking presentations on mental health, parenting, trauma recovery, and leadership. Drawing from more than two decades of experience in counseling, education, and organizational development, she brings energy, humor, and authenticity to every engagement.

Clinically, Nicki integrates EMDR, trauma-focused therapy, CBT, DBT, family systems, play, and art therapy into her work, often using creative interventions to help clients process emotions and build resilience. With a Bachelor’s in English and Art from Florida State University and a Master’s in Counseling and Development from Winthrop University and a Masters Certificate in School Counseling, she embodies the power of combining intellect, empathy, and artistry in the service of healing. Whether she’s speaking on stage, facilitating leadership growth, or painting in her studio, Nicki inspires others to lead, create, and live with courage and connection.
