Among other jobs in the media, she also worked as a studio manager at Motown Hitsville Studios in Hollywood.
At Motown she worked with many celebrities. Including: Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Rick James, Smokey Robinson, Suzanne de Passe, Jermaine Jackson, Berry Gordy, Jr. And movie directer, Francis Ford Coppola who was at Motown Hitsville Studios in Hollywood to work on a film score with Stevie Wonder.
Later she even met Michael Jackson whose career shot in the stratosphere after his Billie Jean debut on the award-winning Motown 25 TV Show. A program Tory worked on, too.
Tory's father, a fervent Christian, was a retired science teacher. Her Dad said, the more he learned about science, te more he believed in God!
Using his example in watching him fast and pray. She began to explore Science, Nutrition, Fasting, Prayer and every Healing method she could find to get free from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

- A New York City schoolteacher heard Tory give her Testimony on the radio. She and Tory met for a long lunch, discussion and prayer. Shannon was Healed from depression, returned to work renewed, found a church Tory suggested. and met her fiancé there.
- A tech genius, who had to drop out of college because of schizophrenia, contacted Tory. He was unemployed for a decade. Tory through The Great Physician, Jesus Christ, worked with Brandon for 5 months. He was Healed from schizophrenia.
- And his psychiatrist month by month weaned him from all medication. Brandon's healing included being medication-free for the first time in his adult life. He returned to work getting an excellent job in the tech community in California.
- Tory was able to minister to two different women, having somewhat similar problems, based on deep-seated fear and panic or anxiety. Mental, emotional and physical.
One young woman was having an emergency panic attack on the job. Tory happened to see her.

The other a woman, an older, well-dressed woman on the upper East side of New York City was detoxing and shaking from terrible anxiety and alcohol withdrawal. The kind of anxiety that can drive one to drink again!
This was at a 12-step meeting where Tory does not go every week unless God says to: "Go there to pray." Tory prayed for the woman very quietly during the meeting. And when her daughter came to collect her at the meetings' end. Her shaking and anxiety were gone.
- Tory spoke at a homeless shelter in Brooklyn when her church traveled there for a community meeting and prayer. A woman who had a schizophrenic daughter who had to drop out of college, furiously took notes from Tory's speech, then waited to have a discussion with her afterwards.
Less than one year later that same woman ran up to Tory in church to give her the amazing news. Her daughter was healed from schizophrenia, returned to college, graduated and got several job offers in her chosen career path.
-St. Luke's Hospital, 8th Floor, psychiatric ward, New York City. Tory and a Pastor friend were given permission by the wards' doctors and nurses to pray for the patients who wanted prayer.
On their own without our prompting.They lined up quietly in the day room and waited patiently for prayer.
The doctor's and nurses stood at the doorway somewhat in awe and smiled.
It was like a heart-warming movie scene. But even more wonderful because it was real.
I know of at least one woman who experienced Healing from that prayer encounter.
