Bob Osmond is founder, chief consultant and coach at FWD STRATEGIES, LLC., which helps organizations and their leaders move forward with clarity and purpose. He has more than three decades of experience building brands and leading teams that develop and deliver integrated public relations and communications programs for a range of technology and consumer clients.
Most recently president of Racepoint Global (RPG), Bob led strategy, culture, and operations for the top 100 B2B technology agency. Bob’s agency career includes leadership positions at Upstart Communications, Cohn & Wolfe (WPP), DGC (Independent), Ketchum and Access Brand Communications (OPRG). His teams have won industry awards, including Cannes Lions, Silver Anvil, PRWeek, and Sabres for B2B and consumer campaigns.
Bob is passionate about work culture and the role of communications in defining and integrating brand purpose. Bob also serves as a media and presentation trainer and coach to CEOs and executives, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. He is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC, ELI-MP, CDE®), and a member of the board of trustees of the Institute for Public Relations (IPR).
Bob is a frequent contributor to industry and business publications. He moderates panels, speaks, and writes about various topics, including the changing communications landscape, corporate culture, employee communications and engagement, and the role of brand purpose in volatile times.
A native of Nova Scotia, Canada, Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Dalhousie University, Halifax. He lives in New York City.
