John Langan is a Saulteaux/Cree man (pronounced So-Toe) from Keeseekoose First Nation, Saskatchewan (Treaty 4 Territory), and hails from the Bear Clan. A graduate of the Indigenous Justice and Criminology Program at the University of Saskatchewan, John brings a unique perspective to both his full-time role as a police constable and his part-time service with the Canadian Armed Forces. Deeply connected to his roots, John actively carries on his people's culture through traditional practice and ceremony.
