"You Are the World's Best" - Elevate the performance of your organization, team, & people to 'Be the World's Best'. Win in the marketplace and in life with the Attitude of Gratitude.

Inspire, motivate, and empower your organization and team to "Be the World's Best". Sig Muller, the Founder of "Be the World's Best", died on August 23rd, 2024. He had a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and was dead for more than 8 minutes before his heart was restarted. The odds of someone walking out of the hospital after a SCA are about 8%. The odds of being physically and mentally OK less than 1%.

Sig's health crisis and recovery made something crystal clear to him: He has a passion to share what he has learned in a way that helps others succeed.  Sig believes there is power and capacity in each of us waiting to be revealed and amplified. He is now dedicated to the simple proposition: you are uniquely capable and talented. He wants to help you realize your full potential and to Inspire, Motivate, and Empower YOU to "Be the World’s Best".

Sig brings a growth mindset and more than 30 years experience motivating and coaching teams to 'Be the World's Best'. His teams have started, grown and built successful businesses in multiple industries including: healthcare, consumer packaged goods, retail, and financial services.

During his career, Sig has been blessed to work with some of the World's Best people and companies including: Accenture, Ben & Jerry's, Mayo Clinic, UnitedHealth Group, General Mills, Discover Financial Services, TCF Bank, 6 start-ups, and many other awesome people and companies. He has had the opportunity to be both a leader (coach) and follower (contributing team member) on high-performing teams as well as those that failed to reach their full potential. He has taken powerful lessons from both the successes and failures and has seen first-hand how changes in belief and behavior can create transformative results.

Growing up the son of a Panamanian immigrant, Sig's father always stressed the principles of: working hard, learning continuously, trying (not quitting), doing your best at everything you did, and living your faith. If you focused on these simple principles you could accomplish your dreams.

Early on, for Sig, this meant working hard and doing his best at school and athletics:

  • High school class valedictorian
  • State Champion swimmer
  • All-American swimmer
  • Northwestern University, BS Industrial Engineering
  • D1 collegiate swimming: team captain and Academic All-BigTen
  • Water Polo: team captain and All-BigTen
  • Dartmouth College, Amos Tuck School of Business, MBA

When Sig is not working, he enjoys spending time with his friends and adult children. You can often find him doing some of his favorite activities: SCUBA diving, playing golf or pickleball, cooking, watching sports, and traveling. While he has spent time working and playing all over the globe, his favorite sports teams have always been those from Minnesota.
