The greatest long term strategic advantage that any organization can have lies in its People and Workplace Culture. A People-First mindset will not only attract, retain and motivate teams, but it builds trust, unlocks zones of genius, and unleashes the power of the people to not just solve problems, but reach higher levels of success.

Kevin delivers an engaging, encouraging and life-changing experience to all who attend his events. Kevin’s People First approach unleashes the power of the people to strengthen, unify, and increase the health of the organization. Respect builds trust and opens the door to access the expertise and genius of every individual. This organic approach gets exponential results that bring the organization to the next level and beyond.

The secret is in Kevin’s combination of real-life experiences of success and mistakes spanning over 50 years. These gold nuggets come from the world of athletics, where hard work and talent are the keys to success. They come from experience as an engineer, with a focus on problem solving, process improvement, and team building. However, the most powerful but lesser-known lessons come from Kevin’s experience in leadership and management where a focus on People had the greatest impact. These experiences bring about rich, memorable and transformational life lessons through targeted stories of successes and mistakes.

As a consultant, Kevin’s business profile includes coming alongside clients to provide strategic planning, business rescue, evaluation, coaching and facilitation. With decades of experience as a trusted manager and leader, Kevin’s focus on trust has led to many highly confidential unfiltered conversations with people at all levels. Those confidential conversations have provided insights that few people ever hear. They reveal issues, ask questions and share concerns that have led to an entirely different level of understanding about why things happen the way they do in organizations. These experiences have come through decades of conversations, surveys and analysis with people across various jobs, industries and company sizes.

Kevin Miiller was an elite athlete who was driven to win. In the 6 years after high school, he earned Division 1 All-American status in the steeplechase and ran 20,000 miles to reach his goal of qualifying for the USA Olympic Trials. Kevin is a professional engineer with an MBA and a leadership consultant who serves organizations by helping them identify (often hidden) root causes to problems, develop practical solutions and reach higher levels of success.

There are no short cuts on the road to success, but there are many potential wrong turns along the way.

I enjoyed how the presentation inspired me to think differently about what it means to lead. I was the keynote speaker at the conference the next day, presenting on leading during crises. I’m always looking for new information to build my presentations, so I was able to incorporate a small piece from Kevin’s into mine.

I attended the trust breakout at the North Dakota Emergency Management Conference and the thing that most impacted me was how much trust has to do with all aspects of leadership. . . . Many times, I listen to people who I admire and hear them inflate the stories just a bit and it really turns me off and makes me not trust them. You either did it or you didn’t, it is those ¾ truths that have eroded a lot of the good in society today. Do you want to follow someone that you only trust 3/4? I want to follow someone that I trust wholly.

Enlightening! Kevin Miller provided an amazing presentation on “Trust” that opened our hearts and minds to being a better person. His ten points of trust where spot on in my opinion, with the overcommitting point being the top in the list in my opinion. Kevin brought the material to the audience in a way that engaged us, sparked our intrigue and opened our thought processes into the professional aspects of our relationships as well as to our family and friends. Several of our professional association members discussed how we can take the points Kevin presented and improve our relationships. I look forward to seeing him again and reading his book. I highly recommend him for any event looking to add and improve the audiences trustworthiness.

I recently had the pleasure of participating in Kevin’s presentation and workshop on the importance of trust within our organizations and relationships. Kevin was enthusiastic, engaging, and, most importantly, sincerely engaged with his topic and his audience. Despite the diversity of professional and individual backgrounds of the participants and the organizations they represented, Kevin’s presentation provided valuable insight into our role in establishing trust-based relationships. I found the information well-balanced between scholarly research and practical applications. The action points presented were feasible and attainable. I confidently recommend Kevin as a presenter if your organization is struggling with internal or external relationships or growth. While his presentation addresses common barriers to positive relationship and reputation building, it would be equally insightful for organizations and individuals who are already experiencing success and growth due to a commitment to trustworthiness. 5-stars…would attend again….highly recommend.

Kevin did a great job providing insight into a lot of areas of leadership. I particularly liked that he encourage leaders to continually be in self-reflection mode. When working with teams if no problem exists or ideas are not put forward it could be an indicator of a trust issue. He also did a great job identifying why we follow leaders.

Going through this seminar (Leaders Create The Culture) I realized that just because I appreciate "blunt" conversation doesn't mean everyone else does. It helped me to realize that I need to be aware of how I interact with others.

I am Gary Brennan with ACEC and we had Kevin Miiller come share at our spring conference. He talked about specifically a topic titled “Increasing Your Influence & Impact With Trust” ... I think that it is something that will help out our individual members firms when they are working with clients, when they are trying to build a better culture within their companies, or whatever it is that they are setting out to do that has to do with trust. Excellent job Kevin and I would highly recommend him for any event.

Kevin’s training pushed us to think more deliberately about the role trust plays—not just in our client relationships, but in our internal culture as well. Just days after the session, our team is already putting those insights into action, integrating what we learned into our processes and standards
