NC, USTrade out chronic disease management for wholistic health, restoring strength, stamina, energy, and clarity of mind —qualities essential for fulfilling your divine purpose.
Dr. Jackie McKool is a speaker and teacher of wholistic health and wellness as well as the author of the book “Are You Being Deceived About True Wellness.” Come enjoy her energy, passion and humor, and leave inspired and empowered. She loves to share how to:
- · Unveil the confusions, myths and deceptions that prevent people from achieving true health and wellness
- · Have life beyond disease
- · Uncover over-looked stressors that are silently killing us
- · Get off the sickness treadmill and address your health wholistically
- · Uncover the root cause and restore health naturally
Jackie has been passionate about wholistic health & wellness since God delivered her in 1996 from an addiction to alcohol and the whole bar life. He pulled her out of the miry clay and set her feet on a new path – a wholistic path of health & healing. She knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has called her to share the truths about wholistic health and wellness, through speaking, teaching and writing with the purpose of glorifying Him.
Dr. McKool’s professional background consists of:
- · Spending 10 years in the wholistic health field as a chiropractic physician in Charleston, SC
- · Having specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of internal disorders
- · Having worked in various natural health capacities for over 20 years, doctoring, speaking, writing and teaching about wholistic
health and wellness
As a communicator, Jackie:
- · Is certified with the John Maxwell Team as a coach, teacher and speaker
- · Has served as a trained minister for several Christian healing ministries
- · Has been a member of Toastmasters International (TI) since 2009, she:
- Has her Competent Communicator and Competent Leader designations and completed her first Pathway in 2023
- Has served in a variety of leadership roles within her Toastmasters Club over the years and is currently holding the position of
Vice President of Education for her Club.
- Was a breakout session facilitator for the District Conference in South Carolina, as well as an instructor for one of the
breakout sessions at a Toastmasters Leadership Institute session.
- She came in 3rd place in 2023 for the District 37 Table Topics contest
- · Has written columns in the past for local newspapers in the towns where she lived, as well as a monthly wholistic health
contributor for a local radio station in her community.
In addition to wholistic health & wellness, Jackie ran in 3 Marine Corp Marathons, the Princess Disney ½ marathon, and one ½ marathon mountain trail race (one was enough!) at 59 years old. She loves being in God’s creation outdoors jogging, walking, hiking, biking and kayaking – but her greatest outdoor enjoyment is backpacking. She claims she was “born to be outside!”
At 65 years old she recently completed her eleven-year backpacking section-hike on the Appalachian Trail (AT), a 2,200 mile-long foot trail that runs from Georgia to Maine. Look for her next book that is already brewing pertaining to her adventures on the AT!
She strives to live out her life wholistically, by continually learning and growing with the hope of being an example and encouragement to others that God has a purpose for their lives and that their health is in their control.
Jackie lives in western North Carolina with her fur baby kitties KoKo and Sadie.
