People to move beyond surface-level performance toward authentic, relational, and human-centered ways of being.

Creating spaces where people feel:

* both challenged and supported

* reflection leads to action, and

* insight becomes embodied rather than theoretical

In today’s ‘Experience Era,’ authentic connection reigns supreme; and a recent Forbes article demonstrates that authentic leadership is linked to preventing burnout. While neuroscience affirms our biological wiring for social interaction, genuine connection requires more than surface-level engagement. It calls for courage, derived from the Latin word cœur, meaning heart. LauraLynn speaks of courage as it comes from being open and listening on multiple levels. Without cultivating this deeply humanizing approach, our interactions risk remaining transactional, which can be detrimental to the current era of business in which success hinges on the ability to connect meaningfully with customers, colleagues, and employees.

This keynote will explore the transformative process of true connection, starting on the intrapersonal level, moving into the interpersonal realm, and culminating in the collective space. Sharing personal stories and experiences LauraLynn highlights the moments when choosing courage over comfort led to deeper understanding and trust. Attendees will gain actionable insights and practical steps to shift their communication and presence, fostering relationships that resonate on a human level.

LauraLynn Jansen, Ph.D., PCC, is a respected speaker, author, and consultant whose work sits at the intersection of leadership, humanity, and meaningful change. With more than twenty years of experience inspiring individuals, and teams. LauraLynn is widely recognized for her ability to translate deep insight into practice, lived application. Her work invites people to move beyond surface-level performance and into authentic, relational, and human-centered ways of being - at work and in life.

As a professionally certified Co-Active coach, LauraLynn brings a rare blend of rigor and heart to her practice. She is known for creating spaces where people feel both challenged and deeply supported, where reflection leads to action, and where insight becomes embodied rather than theoretical. Whether she is speaking to senior executives, emerging leaders, nonprofit professionals, or culturally diverse teams, her presence is grounded, engaging, and catalytic. Participants consistently describe their work together as transformative - not because it offers quick fixes, but because it offers people a way to reconnect with who they are, why they lead, and how they relate to others.

LauraLynn's scholarship and practitioner background have both played a pivotal role in shaping her approach. In 2023, she was awarded the Academy of Management’s prestigious Promising Dissertation Award for her groundbreaking research on how humanizing ways of being are fostered. This honor recognizes not only academic excellence, but also real-world relevance and future impact of her work. Her research challenges traditional, mechanistic models of leadership and organizations, offering instead a vision rooted in relationship, embodiment, and intentional design. At its core, her work asks a powerful question: What becomes possible when we place our shared humanity at the center of how we lead, work, and live together?

Drawing from relational theory, leadership studies, somatic and embodied practices, and intentional design, creating immersive learning experiences that drive sustainable, values-aligned change and are highly experiential. She has worked in healthcare, the nonprofit sector, private enterprise, and the US military.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

LauraLynn spoke to my company’s Women’s Leadership Network on ‘The Choice of Leadership.’ WOW!! Even without a fancy PowerPoint presentation or booming microphone, her presence took command of the auditorium. She provided humorous and light-heartedness, yet soul-reaching messages that can apply to each of us.
