Kerby’s leadership journey began early. He has been actively involved in ministry and leadership development since the age of 15, giving him more than two decades of hands-on leadership experience across volunteer leadership, organizational leadership, and executive-level responsibility. This early start shaped his people-first approach and his ability to lead across generations with credibility and empathy.
He is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) and currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Bethel Pentecostal Church in Sundridge, Ontario. His leadership is marked by a strong emphasis on community impact, healthy leadership cultures, and practical growth, helping people live out their faith with authenticity, often described as being “Jesus with skin on.”
Beyond the church, Kerby is the founder of Kerby Stivene Leadership, a leadership development practice offering keynote speaking, workshops, group coaching, and executive one-on-one coaching across Canada. His work serves both faith-based and secular organizations, bridging values-driven leadership with real-world results.
Kerby is a Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer with the John Maxwell Leadership Team, integrating proven leadership principles with lived experience. He is also the creator of the M1815 Conflict Resolution Framework, a practical and effective model designed to help teams navigate conflict with clarity, accountability, and respect.
A sought-after speaker for conferences, leadership summits, colleges, churches, chambers of commerce, and business organizations, Kerby serves on the Board of Directors for the Almaguin Highlands Chamber of Commerce, contributing to leadership development and economic growth in Northern Ontario.
