When receiving a promotion, new and emerging leaders will often be given the title, the pay, and the people, but aren’t always equipped to proactively lead through the problems, conflicts, and constraints they face daily. Bethany knows this feeling of overwhelm personally because this was her story as she received a skip-level promotion as an administrator to open a brand new 6A high school in Texas. However, Bethany didn’t stay in that valley of overwhelm.

Through her experience as a leader of a large organization, she has learned how to lead people to overcome overwhelm and go from surviving to thriving by focusing on what is most essential. With grit and determination to find a way out of the leadership overwhelm, Bethany:

• Created a synthesized and concise survival plan of action that leaders could implement immediately
• Helped other leaders proactively solve problems, resolve conflicts, and overcome constraints
