"Fragile Success", utilizing your stress to capitalize on success.

Ricky's journey is nothing short of a thrilling odyssey.  It's a tale of resilience and triumph that echoes from the streets of drug-infested Seaside, California in the 80's to the comedy stages of Laffapalooza in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up as a latch key kid, Ricky navigated through obstacles that would make most shy away. Through it all, Ricky found solace in humor, and also turned his situations into a beacon of hope.  Picture an eight-year-old Ricky, riding a bike alone from Yuma, Arizona to San Diego, California, a symbol of the determination that would shape his future. Voted "Class Clown," he flew in a helicopter as "Fly Guy Ricky D." to visit local youth as part of the Pepsi Co. and rocked the airwaves as a radio personality and producer with the "Breakfast Club" on KMEL. He went on to perform at the 2011 NBA All Star Comedy Show and was named one of "HBO's Top 10 Up and Coming Comedians" in the country. Ricky's infectious standup comedy became a powerful force on the national stage and TV: gracing screens as a sports anchor, commercial actor and motivational speaker.

Yet, Ricky's story isn't confined to laughter alone. Picture him juggling not just comedy gigs, but also tackling a psychology degree as a first-generation college graduate, working three jobs, and playing college football.  He embodies the mantra of "work hard and dream big." In addition, Ricky also took an adventurous detour into kickboxing on Pay Per View, embraced roles as an actor, entrepreneur, published author and family man. Ricky's journey is a symphony of laughter, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of dreams.
