I didn't always have healthy living top of mind. It wasn't until my husband's massive heart attack at the age of 41 where I was then forced to make serious changes in our lives.


We were on a mission to help him heal and we knew it would take work, but we wanted control of his health. His prognosis was 7 prescription drugs FOREVER and we knew that was not going to work for us. We didn't want to put a bandaid on this health issue. We wanted to correct it. 


I dove in and was 100% committed to help him on this journey. We were in this together. I decided to change our eating habits. I took it very seriously. Over the course of 4 years, I attended 2 nutrition schools and a culinary school to help us fully understand how to create healthy eating habits in our home. These habits changed our lives forever. 


I'm happy to report, 10 years later, me and my husband both, have never been healthier. He has completely reversed the damage to his heart. And we did most of it through small food changes. Changes you would not expect. We didn't go vegan or follow a restrictive diet. Over the course of 5 years, he went from 7 prescription drugs to 1. 


During my school journey, and LOTS of trial and error in the kitchen, I had the biggest ah-ha moment of my life. The dots were finally connecting. Nowhere on the internet, through all my research, were they talking about this ONE thing as a way to help heal a health condition. 


Because of the success we had with his health (AND with mine), I couldn't keep this information to myself. It's now my life's work to pay it forward and share these simple steps so others can also go down a path of healthy living. 


I come from a broken place and my dream is to allow my story to influence, inspire, impact, and help others on their health journey. We all have something with our health that could use a little work. Whether it's headaches, weight gain, brain fog, allergies, or cancer. This ONE shift in our approach to healthier living just might be what helps thousands. 


Over the past 6 years, I have helped hundreds of people shift their mindset around their health. In a practical way, my story and my speech help others reflect on their own life, draw in the information, and apply it to their situation. 


Prevention is more than gym memberships, mammograms, and annual dentist appointments. It starts with what we are eating every day, and I'm here to help others place a mirror in front of themselves, and be inspired to take action in their own life.
