Gene Folkes, MSOL is a service-disabled United States Air Force Veteran, and serial entrepreneur, and founder of Folkes International Group, Inc. a Business Consulting firm. A former contestant on NBC's The Apprentice, Gene showcased his business acumen in dealing with complex tasks, and managed diverse groups. Gene Folkes’ professional experience includes serving as a Lobbyist/Liaison for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), as well as graduating at the top his class from the Air Force Leadership Academy; Recognized for his success and performance by the Air Force Inspector General and selected as the IG’s professional performer. Private sector experience includes managing private and public sector assets and leading groups as a director maintaining assets under management for municipalities and Fortune 100 Organizations. As a former Investment Banker with Merrill Lynch, AIG, and JPMorgan Chase, Gene has been a longtime advocate on strategies to create opportunities for small, mid-sized enterprises led by entrepreneurs of color, to provide their products and services within their community, and abroad.
