Mark Turansky CSAC, ICRC is President of New Horizons Counseling on Oahu (est.1980). Mark graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1984.  As a Professional Counselor with over 30 years’ experience, Mark is a member of the AAC, AACC, a certified Addictions & Recovery Specialist, Wellness Counselor and Certified Marriage Life Coach. Being trained as clergy, Mark got his start with counseling in the ministry, but soon began to see that he had a natural gift for helping others. Mark is the author of “Figure it, Face it & Fix it – your surprising solution to addiction substance abuse.” One of Mark's strengths is pubic speaking.  His casual, no nonsense style engages the listener with ease and his practical approach leaves audiences with clear direction for how to reach their goals and potential  Mark lives on the North Shore on the beautiful island of Oahu with his wife Kelli. A local resident since 1978, he loves Hawaii's beaches, motorsports racing, motorcycle riding and outdoor recreation.
